Actor Thalaivasal Vijay is quite popular among Tamil film buffs for his notable performances in positive as well as negative supporting roles in hundreds of Tamil films. He has acted with Kamal Haasan. VIjay, Ajith, Prakash Raj and many other leading actors as well as directors.
Mostly the children of film celebrities will be entering the film industry but Vijay's daughter has achieved something phenomenal in Swimming. Jayveena, the 15 year old daughter of Thalaivasal Vijay has just won her first gold medal in the National Swimming championship that is being held in Kerala. She completed swimming the distance of 50 meters in 34.43 seconds to win the gold medal.
Vijay who has been a guide and constant supporter of his daughter's Swimming endeavours revealed that Jayaveena won a silver medal and five bronze medals in the national level games held in the year 2012 in Ranchi. He wanted her daughter to win a gold medal at least this time and was assisting her as a proud and caring father to achieve that. he had also cancelled his shooting commitments to be with her during the national sports event in Kerala.
The senior actor said his next goal his to make his daughter win a medal in international swimming competitions.
