After ARR, another Tamilan grabs Oscar # Bala

Followed by Isaipuyal A.R. Rahman, Cottalango Leon, a Tamil native technician settled in United States of America has grabbed the prestigious Oscar Academy Awards under the ‘Scientific and Technical Achievements’ category.
Cottalango, a software engineer, has won the award for the Design, Engineering and the Developments of Sony Pictures Imageworks. Leon received his award in the Oscar Academy's Annual Scientific and Technical Awards ceremony held on February 13. This event is conducted every year to honor the scientific and technical contributions that would enhance the motion picture industry in any manner.
Awardees in this category would just receive a certificate as not a Statuette as in the case of Oscars for films.
WIth Cottalango Leon spoke in Tamil language after receiving the award like the A.R.Rahman's unforgettable 'Ella Pugazhum Iraivanukke' speech.
