Young actor Karunakaran has already carved a niche for himself as a notable comedian as well as character artist. He acted as the male lead in Radha Mohan's 'Uppu Karuvadu' which was one of the successful films of 2015.
Karunakaran is however not adamant on continuing as the hero and he keeps accepting supporting characters coming his way. He has a number of films under his kitty and undoubtedly one of the busiest actors in Ktwon.
Now the actor has confirmed bagging a plum role in a big project with a top league star. Karunakaran will be acting as National Award winning actor Vikram's friend in the stylish action thriller 'Iru Mugan' directed by Anand Shankar. Karuna has confirmed the news in his official Twitter account.
'Iru Mugan' has Vikram playing dual roles while Nayanthara and Nithya Menen join him as the female leads. The film is being produced on a grand scale by Shibu Thameens. The third schedule of shooting of the film will be starting in Chennai on March 21.
